GREETINGS:

The Thirty-Fourth Biennial General Convention of the Oklahoma State AFL-CIO will convene on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 1:30 pm and will continue in session through Friday, October 20, 2023.

CONVENTION REGISTRATION:
A Registration Fee of $120.00 will be charged for each delegate attending the Convention.  The registration fee includes one ticket to the Banquet. Said registration fee is to be forwarded to the President/Secretary-Treasurer with the original credential.  (Additional banquet tickets will be $70.00 each.)

Registration of delegates and visitors will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18 and 8:30 a.m. Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20, 2023.

 

CONVENTION ITINERARY:

As the Convention Agenda comes together, we will keep you updated on speakers, workshops, and other events once they are set.

We always welcome ideas from our members, so if you have any suggestions for topics, speakers, or workshops that you would like to see for this convention, please contact our office at (405) 528-2409 and we will try to incorporate them into the agenda.

LABOR HALL OF FAME BANQUET:

The Oklahoma AFL-CIO Labor Hall of Fame Banquet will be Thursday evening, October 19, 2023, at the Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Northwest.  Each delegate will receive one (1) banquet ticket in his/her packet at time of registration.  Additional tickets can be purchased in advance for only $70.00 each.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS:

The Hotel has given us a rate of $129.00 for King Bed Studio Suite; $144.00 for King Bed Suite or two Queen Beds Suite.  Make sure you book your hotel reservations prior to September 26, 2023 to be assured of space and rate availability.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.  A deposit equal to one night’s room rate will be due from each individual group member by the cutoff date.
